This month (April 2024), Jealous artist and collaborator Corbin Shaw announced his collaboration with Fred Perry.

The artist collaborated with the clothing brand to create two limited edition T-Shirts 'Dear Sheffield' and 'Leavers'.

The first shirt: 'Dear Sheffield' is a love letter to Shaw's hometown of Sheffield, with a poem written on the reverse of the t-shirt:

I want you to know

you hold my heart

hold it high

highstreet dreams

streets in the sky

heaven is a hole in the road

for you and I.

'Leavers' references a coming of age. Signed in the many different hands of a school leaver, the t-shirt brings up a sense of nostalgia that Brits far and wide would relate to.

Alongside the t-shirt release, Shaw and Fred Perry released a short film, which you can view below. The video explores spaces in and around Sheffield which evoke nostalgia for the artist. In his own words [Shaw] 'wanted to create a modern-day Billy Elliot and tap into a nostalgia that was [his] own'.
