Corbin Shaw X The Big Egg Hunt

Corbin Shaw X The Big Egg Hunt

Jealous artist Corbin Shaw is one of 100 names to decorate a 2ft egg for The Big Egg Hunt, a London-wide project organised by the Elephant Family trust, raising awareness and funds for conservation projects.

This year's city-wide exhibition The Big Egg Hunt sees over 100 notable brands and creatives including Jealous artists Real Hackney Dave, Hayden Kays, and Corbin Shaw invited to decorate a supersized egg sculpture which will later be auctioned to support Asian wildlife charity, the Elephant Family.

Social commentary meets Supermarket Sweep: London-based Jealous artist Corbin Shaw's larger-than-life 2ft caged egg titled "Tagged" wittily references the cost-of-living crisis and increasing use of security tags and boxes on household items including butter and baby formula in UK supermarkets. This unmissable large-scale sculpture is on display at the Barbican Centre, also raising funds for food banks via a QR code for the Independent Food Aid Network, continuing Shaw's work with the North Paddington Food Bank.

Speaking to The Face, the artist is quoted as saying,"it's crucial to support the food bank network because times are tough for many people right now."

The Big Egg Hunt art trail runs from 24th March to 27th April, find out more here and shop Jealous artist Corbin Shaw's prints now.
