JEALOUS

A group show to kick off 2026 featuring Jealous artists and special guests from Art on a Postcard. Don't miss it!

Landscapes, animals, reimagined mascots, and pop art florals: 'Sometime Never' is an exploration into colour and shape, featuring Jealous artists Giuseppe D'Innella, Kate Gibb, Dave Buonaguidi, Pure Evil, Charming Baker and Saturday Night Specials.

Giuseppe D'Innella's main sources of inspiration have been the landscapes of Puglia, Southern Italy, the land of his ancestors. His screenprinting technique is to build up numerous layers of colour to produce visually complex landscapes and abstract works, with six prints on show at Jealous. Quoted in issue 20 of Pressing Matters, the artist describes the reactive nature of his work: "I was on a farm one afternoon, looking at this castle, this mountain, Monteserico – my own Mont Sainte-Victoire. The sky was so dark, like an eclipse, and the mountain, completely pale. Fantastic! Zang zang zang!” He mimes sketching. “I had to escape the storm, so the brushstrokes were quick. I saw some light... ZANG!”

Looking for small art prints for your wall? We're thrilled to show new editions from Charming Baker's: 'Tiny Love Bunnies', each an edition of 250, sitting at just 15 x 19.5cm, perfect for Valentine's Day gifting. Meanwhile, old school cool meets street art wit: you'll never tyre of Pure Evil's 'Great Big Michelin Man', exclusive to Jealous.

Continuing on the theme of small wonders, feast your eyes upon a selection of works from our friends at Art on a Postcard, featuring postcard-sized prints by artists including Sara Pope, Shuby, Eelus and Rugman, available for a limited period in the gallery and online.

Finally, we're proud to show an original 3-part series by anonymous artist collective, Saturday Night Specials. 'Drug Dealer', 'Art Dealer' and 'Arms Dealer' are towering vinyl on cardboard totems, emblazoned with words and phrases to provoke conversation.

'Sometime Never' runs until 31st January 2026 at Jealous, 53 Curtain Road, London, EC2A 3PT. Get in touch for the works list.
