Let’s go on a Road Trip with London’s favourite cartophile, Dave Buonaguidi, AKA Real Hackney Dave, as he takes us on a visual journey across the world via maps of Paris, Tokyo, Barcelona, London and more.

Sourcing only the best and most unique maps, Buonaguidi has used each one as the canvas for an array of typographic screenprints. The artist breathes new life into them, inspiring a lust for travel and creating keepsakes of our favourite places. Amongst the many unique maps that make up this exhibition, there is a selection of brand new, smaller scale, limited edition map editions featuring famous cities from across the globe.

On this very Harley, at the tender age of 7 years old, Dave Buonaguidi embarked on his first (and only) Round the World road trip with only a world map and can of Vimto for company. Obviously, this road trip consisted of riding up and down the Old Kent road on the bike until it broke a couple of weeks later. Over 50 years later (apart from a brief period in rehab), nothing much has changed.
