Wendy Saunders is a London based artist working predominately as a figurative oil painter. In the last few years she has produced a number of paintings about Pussy Riot, the feminist punk collective, famously arrested and imprisoned after performing Punk Prayer - Mother of God, Chase Putin Away. This new piece of work is a personal political statement mixing a provocative Putin meme, twitter and pussy riot references.
