SODA is a street artist who interweaves 3 dimensional forms to create abstract compositions which seem to float in a space separated from the limitations of our own reality. SODA recently completed a work for Jealous's Rooftop Project in which he contorted and stretched 3 dimensional forms to re-imagine and re-contextualize the space. The images produced allow the viewer to reconsider and asses the limitation of our own reality and visual language. SODA's work treads a line between abstraction and realism combining hyper realist forms in a manner which separates them from our common experience causing them to reside in a space separate from everyday experience. These techniques and ideas have been transferred to print in the Jealous studio. SODA creates prints with extraordinary complexity using a subtle range of colours and tones allowing the image to reveal its depth through investigation and the artists own participation.
