Sarah Fotheringham studied illustration at the University of Brighton, graduating in 2007. She now works in a wide range of disciplines including illustration, advertising, set design. Sarah's editions feature different birds, some exotic, some from the back garden and some unique creations. The drawings each embody a remarkable uniqueness of character and have a playful, engaging tone. The birds are part naturalists’ reference, part illustrators’ creations and are influenced by the artists memories of bird watching with her father. The 200 Peacocks edition is a digital print which has been painstakingly hand painted with gold ink by Sarah.
