After having studied fashion Anne found her calling at age 30 as a graphic designer and has since worked as a freelancer for interior design and architectural practices.
After 6 years in industry she decided it was time to pursue the big dream and start her own brand. Taking a break from a hectic work schedule she spent 3 months in California hitting the reset button, finding balance and looking for inspiration everywhere possible. These works are inspired by her love for the light in LA — how it bounces off everything to create really vibrant, vivid colours and how everything feels reminiscent of the 80s.
Going back to her artistic roots and combining it with her love for design and print, screenprinting became a natural path. The brand she created is called Riise. It represents progress. The ideology simple — to see beautiful things, memorialise and share them.
