A BAFTA member, Mario was selected for the prestigious BBC Drama Room and Drama Writer’s Programme and named on the BBC’s Hotlist of 200 emerging talents. His original commissions span BBC Drama, BBC Radio 4, and Sky. His acclaimed short films, Anonymous, Echo, and The Gifted Hypothesis, have won multiple awards, including selections and nominations at Oscar, BAFTA, and BIFA-qualifying film festivals, including the Best Drama prize at Cannes Shorts. Felix Grey and the Descendant marks his debut as a novelist, a gripping historical crime caper set in Edwardian London.
