Collection: MARINA INOUE
Marina Inoue

Graduating from Camberwell College of Arts in 2008, Marina is a graphic designer and illustrator living and working in London. Being native in two diverse cultures, Marina's upbringing in Japan and England plays a large influence in her work: she is fascinated by cultural differences in how people perceive and behave. Through her narrative illustrations, she explores ways to celebrate and communicate the simple, everyday life in one culture to the other, often by marrying elements perceived as stereotypical with the less familiar. She also takes inspiration from typical human behaviour compared to the rest of nature that she observes in her daily life, through conspicuously people watching with a sketchbook in hand.
