Kat Hassan

Kat Hassan is an artist, designer, and illustrator born and based in London. She gained her Master’s Degree in Illustration from Camberwell College, 2019 and a BA in Fashion Print from Central Saint Martins, 2009.

Her work is created using a mixture of hand drawn and digital media, inspired by London’s incredible diversity; the diversity of people, style, music and she is particularly concerned with exploring female narratives. Kat is a dynamic Illustrator, with the ability to tell energetic and spirited stories. Her bold use of colour, pattern and texture is recurrent throughout her work, which often features equally as bold characters lounging in vividly stylised interiors.

She forms part of an all-female illustration collective called ‘Camby Pamby’ and is a winner of The Jealous Prize, 2020.

In her illustrative work, Kat has worked with clients including Laura Mvula, Sony Music, Adobe, Kiehl’s, Microsoft, The Charterhouse and Diesel. Her work has been featured in People of Print, High Snobiety and Wonderland Magazine.
