Irish-born, london-based designer Jo Hogan graduated with an MA in Typographic studies from The London College of printing. Since 2003 she has worked for a broad range of arts, culture and fashion clients including NME, Urban Outfitters and Rough Trade Publishing. Hogans style is a mix of "blade and bitmap", using instant design techniques (such as rubber stamps, xeroxes, cut-up lettering), alongside the computer to create dynamic, hybrid imagery that hints at cool eras past while being totally in the now. Hogan works across a range of media producing record sleeves, magazine layouts, flyers, zines and limited edition screenprints - all of which are embellished with what she terms creative typographics.
