Danny O'Sullivan graduated from Camberwell College of Arts in Illustration. Since then he’s been experimenting with print, illustrative drawing, wood sculpture and fine art painting. This versatile body of work always has a strong focus towards mark-making, colour and composition. It is not constrained by particular subjects or need for expressing an opinion, it is simply for the love of image making. The panda is a design that appears in and out of his paintings, provoking nostalgia for earlier work. It’s often recreated and experimented with in different mediums as a theme closely associated with branding and repetition of imagery.
