ALO (Aristide Loria) is an Italian born, London based artist known for his ‘Urban Expressionist’ style portraits, created both on traditional canvas, as well as tucked in between buildings and doorways in his local East London.

The Italian born, London based artist describes his artwork style as Urban Expressionist; his works are greatly inspired by the expressionist style, reflected through the distortion and exaggeration of the figures in his portraits. Using his East London surroundings as the inspiration for his works, ALO creates remarkable portraits of his muses, which he often refers to as ‘London’s unseen’, using an eclectic mix of his own mixed media techniques as well as traditional methods. The artist’s original artworks are made by hand with brushes and markers.
