Aldo C Gagliardi lives and works in London and has followed an unconventional path from architecture to art and film. He entered the film industry through animation, working as an animator and animation supervisor on Spike Jonze’s Where the Wild Things Are, Aardman’s Arthur Christmas, James Cameron’s Avatar, Alfonso Cuarón’s Gravity and the documentary Listen to Me Marlon, among other titles. He collaborated with Oscar-winning director Paolo Sorrentino on Youth and spent over a decade as Head of Animation at Passion Pictures. He has also written and directed the live-action short Brave Naked.


His debut exhibition, 'PLAY' runs from 7-10th October at Jealous.
