Saint Jealous: MOCO Museum X Pink Noise Foundation
Published on:As part of pride month celebrations, our partners at MOCO Museum London hosted a Pink Noise Foundation fundraising auction, featuring works from emerging and established LGBTQIA+ artists.
The event celebrated diversity through contemporary artworks in MOCO's Central London space, with guests treated to performances from Gossip frontwoman Beth Ditto and singer and actor, Olly Alexander. Creativity, community and culture were the order of the evening, and we were thrilled to work with Jealous artist Fox Fisher to create a one-off supersized edition of his 'Pride Panther' print, billed by Forbes as "one of the highlights of the online auction".
"...We wanted to give a voice to artists from the LGBTQI+ community who are emerging or more established, including Fox Fisher, Daniel Lismore and Nadya from Pussy Riot, who protested in a country where being queer is illegal.” - MOCO Museum Art Collection Manager, Katy Richfield

The auction raised an incredible £20,000 in total, with other works sold including a portrait of host and artist Daniel Lismore by Jealous artist Chris Levine, portraitist of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Alongside Fox Fisher’s one-off print, artworks were donated by Alison Jackson, Bambi, Jealous artists Ben Eine and Chris Levine, Nadya from Pussy Riot, Deborah Azzopardi, ENDLESS, Hattie Stewart, Ian Brennan, Jess Wilson, Paul Kelley, Kristjana S Williams, Laura Stowers, Lucy Perfect, MYSTIQ, Trackie McLeod and Zoe Grace.
The Pink Noise Foundation auction was conceived by Mighty Hoopla founder Glyn Fussell and MOCO Museum’s Katy Richfield. Pink Noise Foundation is a community-led organisation that supports and strengthens the most vulnerable members and organisations of the LGBTQ+ community.
