Following on from the summer release of new studio album ‘Being Poor Is Expensive’ - a record which recounts the very personal story of his own journey growing up in North West London.
Bashy has connected with four British artists for a creative conversation around the album’s themes, including those relating to the track ‘How Black Men Lose Their Smile’. With no brief other than an invitation to listen to the music and create a response to the 11-track tribute to coming of age in Bashy’s corner of the city, the result is Bashy presents: Made In Britain, a cohesive collection of work from four individual British artists working a range of different mediums.
