What's more rock and roll than an article in NME? Stanley Donwood chatted with journalist Andrew Trendell about his exhibition at Jealous 'Sacred Cartography'

We were so happy to see the positive response to our exhibition 'Sacred Cartography' here at Jealous East. A series of 8 big, lovely screenprints arrived fresh from the Jealous Studio and were up on the walls, brightening up a dreary and dark end to November. Works in the show were the screenprinted versions of Donwood's original painting series 'Modern Landscapes', following on from a very recent exhibition at Saatchi Gallery, curated by Jealous. The works represent areas of interest to the artist and stemmed from an interest in ordnance survey maps, and the ancient historical sites we visit.
