Alec’s illustration work is often very typographic, using body shapes and objects to describe letter forms. He draws a lot of influence from artists like Miroslav Sasek and Abram Games. Alec has worked with breweries, designing quirky craft beer labels for breweries in London. He takes inspiration from his adolescence, with much of his work eluding a sense of mischief, rebellion and naivety. This reflects in his work and is demonstrated in his illustrations. Alec uses bright contrasting colours and simple form to create his artwork. He is a member of the Puck Collective and currently the label artist for Partizan Brewing. Selected Clients include BMW Mini Cooper, British Airways Magazine, Brown-Forman, Game, Maker’s Mark Whisky, Mark Fairwhale and Partizan Brewing.
